Tickbit Privacy Policy

Tickbit is a simple daily checklist and home-screen widget application provided by KAPEN. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Tickbit.

1. Information stored by Tickbit

Checklist items, completion status, theme preferences, and related app settings are stored locally on your device. Tickbit does not require an account, and KAPEN does not operate a server that receives or stores the contents of your checklist.

2. Advertising

Tickbit uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process certain information for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, which may include:

IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
Interactions with the app and advertisements
Diagnostic and performance information
Device or advertising identifiers, where available

3. Consent

Where required, Tickbit uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or manage advertising-related consent. Depending on your region and applicable law, you may be shown a consent message before certain advertising technologies are used.

4. Data sharing

KAPEN does not sell the contents of your checklist or directly share those contents with third parties. Information handled by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob may be processed or shared by those services according to their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Data retention

Checklist data stored by Tickbit remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the application. Advertising-related data handled by Google is subject to Google's own retention practices.

6. Children

Tickbit is a general-purpose productivity application and is not specifically directed to children.

7. Security

Tickbit does not transmit checklist contents to KAPEN servers. Third-party advertising services may transmit data using their own security measures.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Tickbit's features, advertising technologies, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are made.
